I've been catching episodes of it recently as well and even though it is supremely gay, I still find myself watching it and reliving some of my childhood memories.

The male Scrotum which houses the testis still has sparse hair. The reason there isn't tons of hair on it is because ideal sperm production occurs at 3C below body temperature hence why the balls are outside of the body. The reason there are lots of nerves is to defend the balls behaviorally.



Females have hair on the labia majora and mons pubis to attract attention (this was important back in the wild) and because heat doesn't matter considering egg production is done when the female is a fetus and maturation occurs inside the body.
