i think my movie-watching as a kid was overwhelmingly conventional and i can't imagine there's much in there that a reappraisal would benefit

if we're talking like, high school age, i dunno i remember mostly being indifferent to the peter jacksons and john waters at the time. maybe those could use revisiting

but i'm more interested in watching stuff i haven't seen already

Last time watching with my mum I realised The Sound of Music has a WW2 backstory. It' s mr. Von Trapp fighting the anschluss. Those nazis were tricky lying cunts and not all austrians were willing
