Do you use these things in your car? Where do you place them? On the windshield? On the A/C vents?

The ones that clip onto your vent are garbage. I've been using a magnetic one that's mounted to my dash and it's been great.

Aye, I need to use ein GPS a lot lately and constantly grabbing my phone from the shotgun seat to check where I am is a hassle. That's why I've been thinking of getting one of these.

they are not garbage unless you buy a garbage one
actually super useful in hot climates cos they keep your phone cold when you're watching youtube while driving

I have an old ass one that is suction cupped to the windshield. The phone basically sits on the dashboard in the middle. Only ever put it there if I’m using navigation.
