Very much so. This week has been absolutely fucking insufferable and there’s still 2 days left!

Fast approaching. Consistent 10 hour days are draining.

Re: anyone else burnt the fuck out at work
I actually enjoy the job that I do and am pretty fucking top notch at it. But my boss is so out of touch with how wholesale parts works that he's absolutely fucking us. But is super quick to question every step me and my cohort make to grow wholesale and make more money.
I started actively looking for something else as of Monday. The writing is on the wall that someone is gone by the end of the year. I'm not getting blindsided by some bullshit. I'm going to follow up with the couple of applications I have out on Friday and see what the fuck is up with those.

Re: anyone else burnt the fuck out at work
I've said on the other thread I've got a motivation problem. I procrastinate a lot. Like something that is a simple email, it might take me days to send it out, even if it takes only 10-15 minutes to prepare. Simply the fact that I wait so long makes it harder than it would have been if I sent it immediately because I have to revisit and refresh myself on what the problem was since I procrastinated so much.
I don't know if this is burnout, it could just be that I'm a lazy sonofabitch. I may be on borrowed time, but my compensation increases and stock awards seem to suggest otherwise. I show flickers of intelligence on the job but it's highly inconsistent, like I've got elements of competence but it rarely shows up.

Re: anyone else burnt the fuck out at work
Me and another hard-on bearer got hired to build the wholesale business here. We've managed to get a fair bit in but he's holding us back so much. If wholesale was it's own entity and we got to fully focus on it with an open checkbook we'd be miles ahead of where we are at right now.
Were about 150k off of last years pace for gross. Us being able to do our jobs properly, 100% sure we'd be 150k over instead of under.

I think in short periods, drag on for half a year more and see what happens. It helps a bit
