it looks ridiculous but is supposed to be comfortable. i have always just been a plain leather office chair hard-on bearer but the one i bought in 2021 is starting to piss me off so i am moving it to my brewfice (where i spend less extended sessions at the desk).
this was on sale for $240 from $320 RRP

a fellating lover gave me his gamer chair in the same price range a couple years ago after it turned out to not be suitable to his setup. it's comfortable enough, but i dislike the high-back design for my office since it interferes with watching stuff on the tv. and the covering is faux leather which has been cracking and deteriorating at a rapid clip, so the cloth covering in your case was the correct move
i want to eventually replace it with one of those nice mid-back herman miller chairs but they're way spendy so waiting to see if i can find one in a liquidation sale or something

Those Herman Miller chairs are ridiculously comfortable. I'm not actively looking but if I see a liquidation sale I always check for them.

yeah it is pretty comfortable, better than my previous one. but looks ridiculous
other one was tan leather and lovely on the zooms
