i don't think i've ever posted about skincare here but your suspicions are on the money. i mean you could buy the full suite of products that i use for less than $500 of course, but if you were to keep at it, you will eventually spend that much

Slightly related, I got the Givenchy gentleman perfume this week. Instead of the cheese they sell at the supermarket I thought why not get something more classy. The cashier gave me some testers, Boss, Rabanne Phantom and Sauvage, and I've been testing all week. Interesting but scents are kind of hard to define too. A little samey at first but I think I will be able to pick a favorite soon. It might not be the Sauvage

yeah if you really want to get big into perfumes it takes a lot of practice and like... actual work to try and suss out all the notes/ingredients and development and stuff. similarly i'm really not good at describing how things taste or why they taste good. i'm not sure i really have the chops to get that deep into it, but i sure do enjoy smelling nice
