congrats luke, here's to many happy years
i asked my girlfriend to marry me in october but didn't mention it on the board, so i am engaged now. we did spend some time apart but it actually didn't last very long, within 6 months we were already hanging out again most days. we have been partners for nearly 17 years at this point. i realized that it was long overdue.

Also, prior to the marriage did you go on a weight loss regimen? Have you curbed the drinking somewhat too?

i have not curbed the drinking but the stress of the wedding stuff seemed to even me out and stop me getting fat even though i stress ate pizza and drank beer every day, i am still 92kg, which is the heaviest i have ever been, but everyone was very kind at the wedding about that. actually the way it worked was that everyone was telling me i could lose some weight until about two weeks ago when everyone started saying i looked great. all bullshit of course, i think we were all just thinking "this ship has sailed"
i had 96 adults, 9 children, 2 babies attending. there were some people there i did not care about and there were about 10 people i was very disappointed that they did not come
my wedding cost USD 25,517.44
we did not accept presents, so none of that will be recouped
