Out with the wife and kids. My older one has already announced that it's her last year doing it.

It's getting more popular here in the Netherlands every year. But I really don't give a fuck about it. It was never even a thing when I grew up.

Did they try and sell you on mormonism and living that plural wife life?

Why was mabb not invited?

utah changed its laws so that you can get married on zoom "in utah" and it is legally 100% exactly the same as getting married on the ground in utah

by getting legally married this way in virtual utah rather than in real thailand, we saved about US $2000 and didn't have to pay any bribes to the military regime in myanmar for bullshit paperwork that the thailand government requires :santa:

after the ceremony the certificates were apostled, emailed, and fedexed out, got everything in just a few days :benton:

i'm a little confused. in the states all you have to do to get "married" is visit your local court house and sign a paper i think? i'm not sure how it works over there.

did you just need proof of a ceremony or something? the utah people did it for non-citizens?

Slightly more to it depending on the state. Maryland is pretty easy, name, birth date, ssn, etc. They also take you at your word that you aren't cousins. We also have a 24 hour waiting period once the license is signed. Some states require blood tests, some have longer or no wait period at all!

Thanks to ancient aliens, I now know why.

It's aliens that did it.
