i don't know if i regret it but i certainly didn't care for it
after 6 months i had this overwhelming dread come over me thinking "this can't be it". it felt kind of disturbing to me to think that people would do that kind of work most of their lives. i felt really dramatic about it.

Been working almost 23 years and I'm still kind of in retail, just more specialized I guess.

yeah i mean i still do front of house type stuff sometimes, running beer festivals, selling beer at events, or just running the bar at events for no money, it's kind of the same

New job is pretty neat. Still have about a week of training then I should be on my own. Longer days but I get paid way more and the work is a lot more satisfying.
