I interviewed for my boss' job today

It went incredibly well! I already know most of the ins and outs of the day to day shit. The bigger issues have easy fixes if my current boss just gave a fuck enough to tackle them. There's just no accountability or regular schedule for when things need to get done. Put both of those in place and everything else kinda falls in line.

All that's left to do is give them a number for what I'm looking for money wise and wait. Your boy is looking for a big time pay raise because this job ain't no small fucking potatoes.

Eventually sort of. Every other Saturday for the foreseeable future. But once things get back to normal they'll be a half day during the week when Saturdays are worked.

At the start though it'll be more hours to get that place back to how it should be.

if you have a general idea of what the pay should be - ask for more. the last hard-on bearer obviously didn't earn his keep.
hell, ask for more than you think is fair and if they rebuff just offer what you were originally going to offer.

My former boss was pulling 160k, my current one is at 90ish from what I heard. It's also a world of difference between the 2 of them in every possible way.

So I've got a nice solid idea of what I wanna be at

So I did my final interview on Wednesday! It went incredibly well, these questions were a little more in depth but I think I nailed them all. The assistant director was there too, who I worked with for a year and change before he took this job. He's the one who actually pushed for me to get interviewed in the first place. I was given an unofficial congratulations before he left that day.

I was asked to provide them with a game plan to fix the department and how to move forward to keep things in line. That email was just fired off 15 minutes ago so hopefully the I'll hear something by the end of this week is true

I haven't seen my actual pay plan yet, should be seeing that early next week.

Taking over a department that is grossing a few million dollars a year with giant problems that can easily be fixed. Should be seeing some nice fat ass paychecks once I get things dialed in
