yeah the covid is what started this all. been going strong for close to a month and a half now

great track and i haven't listened in many years so i decided to give it a go. sadly it did not work

There is ongoing research happening in trying to find a cure for tinnitus involving stemcell therapy. I read about this already 5 years ago or so. These microscopic hairs in the inner hearing canal that break off causing tinnitus might regenerate with this therapy but I'm not sure how far they are with it.

definitely see ent specialist. if possible a hearing subspecialist, rather than someone is more interested in say neck surgery. they will check for known causes/associated conditions. maybe something underlying needs to be addressed. only a person like this can give you potentially useful advice.

sorry, but i think most cases there is no determined cause and also no cure. i think its mostly a case of hoping it goes away, ignoring it, and listening to preferred background sounds to help ignore it
