I love the people and how diverse we are both as a people and a landscape.

I hate our leadership.

Pre afghan war days. I remember sitting in math class on 9/11 kids actually thought it was cool the buildings collapsed. 12 year olds are fucking morons.

I wonder if our generation looks back on the 90's the way boomers look back on the 50's. I mean, things weren't perfect but shit did seem better.....

that said, most of the generation X'ers I know don't look back on the 70s/80's very fondly :redneck:

I can agree with this. I love that we are very multicultural and that even within the country there are huge differences in culture. it's a huge country and even though I've done some traveling there are still several areas I've never been. :ryan:

I hate our leadership and the religious fuckwads and nazi fucks (but I repeat myself) that try to push their bullshit on everyone while somehow thinking they are morally superior :necro:

Tarantulas run around America….Largest spider in the world is native to south America. Deadliest lives in Brazil.

Australia does have Taipans (worlds deadliest snakes) as well as many other creepy crawlies that kill. Most of them are not that huge.

Sorry Im a huge spider/snake nerd couldn’t resist being pedantic.

I hate our leadership and political culture.

Still thinking of one day moving to Scandinavia.

I have quite a few friends living there.
Also studying Finnish and Norwegian in my spare time and already checking out immigration terms, etc.

Does cost quite some money for Sweden for example.

I sell cheese for a living (among other things) these days. parmigiano reggiano is always the number one seller, followed closely by whatever gouda is on sale. the vast majority of goudas are imported from the netherlands though there are few nice ones produced in america. cheese :xx:

yeah that's pretty cool man.

I'm working from home, desk job, which is pretty cool considering I have a dog who can't be alone for too long.

But I'd love an artisan job here in the village somewhere... a lot of farmers, people growing their own food, selling them from the farms, etc.
most folks here just live with the seasons and only buy locally.

Center/right. Technically we don't even have a government right now. Very long complex story.

On some topics I definitely lean right, on other topics definitely left.

Most folks are center left or right.

I will not earn friends here by stating this but the border crisis makes me feel Biden is an even bigger piece of shit than bag of diarrhea inside another, bigger bag of diarrhea is. He is intentionally putting children and families at risk for his own party’s power.

I am directly affected by illegal immigration due to my brother. They cut disability finding so they can afford the services needed for illegal immigrants. They are fashionable, disabled citizens are not and never have been. So i have very strong opinions towards leaders like Biden. I had a small amount of hope when he seemed to raise funds for the neediest amongst us but that evaporated.

I do not hate those taking advantage of policies, who wouldn’t? I also do not believe in mass deportation just some fucking common sense. The conditions they shoved people into are inexcusable.
