Salt and vinegar chips and nuts
Vinegar in dressings for salad
In a lot of recipes to add acidity
Some baking recipes like biscuits

Not usually a side condiment unless you eat fish and chips.

i use vinegar a lot, many varieties. in thailand they mainly use rice vinegar

mostly to kill fruit flies
