Not really.

I really dislike American standup comedy anyway. It's so simple minded and when it tries to be clever, it doesn't really work. Most of the time, not funny. It's just loud and exaggerated.

British, German, Belgian and Dutch comedy/cabaret is completely different, which I prefer.

Exceptations in both aspects exist of course.
