I was raised in a culture where migrating to the USA is considered to be the path to 'greener pastures'. I have experienced living in the US for almost a year when I was 15.

I would say no because it actually is much more fun to be live here in a 3rd world country than in a country like USA, UK, Japan, etc. Too many rules in those nations. Over here, you don't even need to be that filthy rich. If you're a typical middle-class bachelor here, you can get all the drugs you want, download all the illegal shit you want, buy all the gadgets and clothes you can think of, fuck all the whores you want, etc. etc...and no one will give a damn. Imagine if you're a rich bastard...you can put up your own little empire here if you wish.

If I'm in a somewhat desperate situation...say, I have a family and I need more funds to support them, I'd probably consider it but I would probably consider New Zealand (the top of my list), Singapore, Taiwan or Australia first before considering the US of A.

the only reason i would move to the USA would be if it was somehow required for my career, very unlikely at this stage in the game but i guess you never know

australia is not perfect but as an australian, i like many parts of the USA but it has so many problems ... i think it is better as a place for holidays rather than for putting down roots

The question is, do us Americans truly want to live here? Other than it is what we know and may not even be able to afford to leave. The future is quite uncertain, I suppose that is everywhere though.

I love the nature there and some of its culture. But I'd never want to live there. No matter the state or city.

Mainly because of how everything is run for citizens.

I would like to live in New York But Paris first
