oh man, you should go back and play super metroid in full. one of the all-time greats, still holds up to this day. the gameplay, atmosphere, soundtrack etc., everything about that game is still top-notch.

just finished dread on normal, fantastic, highly recommended

there is a hard mode that unlocks after you beat it and the first run was harrowing enough, i don't know if i can hack it on hard

my only real complaint was the stealth segments were mostly not fun. mechanical development for it stalls out pretty early and it's never particularly engaging, just annoying.

couple times, but usually i just balled up and sat in the corner for several minutes
