So I'm a baseball fan. More specifically, I'm a Red Sox fan. I nearly shat when Jacoby Ellsbury stole home like a fucking bullet when the Red Sox capped off a three game SWEEP of the Yankees to make this a ten game winning streak tonight. That put me in a damn good mood.

I'll tell you, one of the saddest days of my life was when I lost my Red Sox hat when I was about 13. I'd had the thing since about age 4, and wore it pretty consistently for most of the time I had it. Eventually, I wore it (against my better judgment) while I was out hiking, and it disappeared forever. I haven't really worn a hat since then.

I definitely recall crying. It was my fucking favorite hat!!!! After nine years or so of conforming to your head shape and absorbing your sweat, going everywhere with you when you're outside...well...you just can't replace that.
