I feel like venting a bit. Sorry, you guys.



I'm afraid that I may be in jeopardy of losing my job. Three co-workers were fired today and the bosses had a little meeting with those who still have a job pretty much telling us to watch our asses since the big bosses are really going to start looking for people being late, not making enough sales, etc. My direct supervisor informed me that I have nothing to worry about but I can't help but feel a little scared that I may slip up and get the boot.



I guess I can kiss my job security goodbye like the rest of the U.S. has. :boohoo:

I am, but that is only part time. VERY part time since I have a full time job and am paying for college out of my own pocket.

Blame the Federal Reserve.

well, you have a good employment record, so if anything happens it shouldn't be too hard for you to find something, and there's always the DMV again if things too poopy

They are going to be getting rid of 4000 state jobs at some point this year so there is no way I could ever go back to that place.

essentially, a person making very little GETS money from the government on income taxes...they pay very little payroll taxes throughout the year plus they get an asston from earned income credit (as a parent), therefore, i can see why they wouldn't get a stimulus seeing as they aren't really paying taxes, but are instead making money from the government. it sucks, but i can understand it.
