If he was born in Austria then he's native language would most likely be Austria/Germany?

Sarcasm is hard to sense online

Also obvious things are missed more than you would think.

It really is.

Most people who don't get grammar "correct" end up sounding annoying.

AOD improves English.

yes, aod has good "prose". i've actually gained much influence from his writing style.

Many times I find myself wanting to emulate it as well, but it likely wouldn't be as cool if I did it.

Re: my mom broke an arm

Posted: 12 Nov 2009, 09:12
by cat hallucination
i haven't emulated it. for me it comes naturally since i suck at incorporating proper grammar and free train of thought into my writing and speech. aod isn't the best with english grammar, but he seems to just let it rip anyway.

i guess i have an affinity for his prose style, same with noyka. smart gal, but god damn she types like a dumb ass sometimes.

It's because I don't think when I post here. I just type like my brain sees things which ends up being really confusing to read. I will go back and edit if things get to discombobulated I should probably do that more since posters I like are now commenting on it :redneck:

no i enjoy it. its refreshing. sometimes i can understand free train of thought better than sophisticated grammar.

I don't think Abzu appreciates it and I know Johnny doesn't. I can monitor my grammar a bit more, things have come across the complete opposite of what I meant. For instance, when Zim was asking if he should go to a testing center or see his doctor my wording made it seem like I was telling him check the testing center. I meant check the doctor out, not the testing center.

Double posting but I'd like to put this out there: All the English I learned was self taught (until college where I learned very little) same with math so I know my grammar isn't perfect.
