this movie wouldve been sooooo much better had it been directed by Stanely Kubrick like it was supposed to be. Fucking Spielberg and his making everything lame as fuck.

i hoped this would be about actual artificial intelligence (it's one of my courses this semester and i have the first exam on thursday ), not that crappy movie

artificial is usually defined as either something made by humans (or other intelligent life forms ), a construct made to imitate something from the "natural" world or a construct that is not "natural". i do not see how would that be in conflict with the concept of "intelligence".. or whatever your were getting at, herr gleeso

Depends on how you define "artificial" and how you define "intelligence". Which of course is obvious and stupid thing to say, which is why my original comment was supposed to be rhetorical. I wasn't really seriously questioning the term. I was taking the piss.
