Feeling sick after Half Life 2

So whenever I play Half Life 2 for a little while I start to feel sick. Nauseous and lightheaded, as if I'm going to vomit or something. After a little searching I found out it wasn't only me, a lot of other people have been saying that Half Life 2 makes them feel sick. Some are saying it's because the games FOV
Field of View is at 75 while most games are at 90.
Anyone else ever played this and felt sick?
old report
Half-Life 2' players call in sick
Hundreds of buyers of "Half-Life 2," the hotly anticipated shooting game released last week, are reporting in developer Valve Software's user forums that they feel queasy and often develop a bad headache after playing the game for as little as an hour.
Far from sounding aggrieved, enthusiastic players greet the incipient hurling as evidence of the game's sophisticated graphics. "I am impressed and sickened (literally) by the level of detail," one player wrote.
Players have all kind of theories for beating the curse of the green gills, from taking Dramamine 30 minutes before playing the game to adjusting monitor settings to avoid possible conflicts with overhead lights.
We look forward to "Half-Life 3" being packaged with an airsickness bag and a Scopolamine patch.

(i never felt sick playing any game, and i used to play Q2 with FOV settings ranging from 60-120)
and if this little thing gives you a headache, avoid every AvP game ever (some of the best horror FPS ever, btw)

I'm a big FPS player, that's why I thought this was strange. I've spent countless hours on tons of FPS games and haven't gotten headaches or felt sick at all. I played Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory for 2-3 years with FOV from 90-125, never anything below 90 though.

I can't stand to play HL2 for longer than 15 minutes, so I don't know.
I do like counter strike though.
Source sucks though. It's aiming system blows dick, and after 3 years, I have still not figured it out.
I like Wolf ET, but the game has too many problems, such as after connecting to a server you get booted, and eventually the game quits working.

If hl2 single player makes you dizzy, you'll probably barf playing the multiplayer(which is awesome):

let alone this twist on hl2dm with HL1 speed and weapons:

My steam id is
ziggyzam
and I usually play any random time on -
24/7 Argentan | 100 Tick | DOD:S Public | The BattleGrounds 216.52.143.122:27015

Source is probably my favorite game engine right now, the aiming is fine for me. CS, L4D and DOD I do fine with aiming. The hit-boxes in CS are strange though. Wolf ET does have some problems but then again it's an unfinished game. I get kicked almost every time I join a server but when I reconnect it's fine, always been that way. Still playing it today.
