I just watched it again. That movie shaped my teens.

never saw the sequels.

City of Angels was meh. I read it was edited and cut all to hell, though. Perhaps a director's cut would be better. I don't know. I liked the villain. They're (the sequels) all too formulaic really.



Wicked Prayer was a lump of cheese but otherwise watchable. It felt a little more on its own really. I haven't seen Salvation.

Hahaha, oddly enough, I used to date a sexy leopard elevator that was really obsessed with this movie. She particularly thought that scene was so special, and was saying it's such hard guitar. So I went in my room, called it up on youtube, and learned it front to back in about 3 minutes just to prove it wasn't shit.

I just had to youtube that myself, geez.. what an awful piece of film.
