One of the most fucking annoying things I come across all the time on the net is when I see this response to a question.



"I don't know, sorry."



As if that's a fucking answer or helpful at all. Why even bother posting that to any type of question? Does this bug anyone else or just me?

I'd rather have someone honestly tell me they don't know than wonder why nobody's answering.

"I don't know, sorry" to me is the same as not reading any response at all, reading that actually wastes my time! If you your response has no useful information at all then don't post!

actually, whats more annoying about it is that you distract yourself with building your values on such silly little things, instead of un-sarding and...............

it's just a little something that bugs me, I don't encounter it that much but when I'm searching the net for answers to whatever it's really annoying to see.

i get it, but i think you're mixing nobility with silly internet forum banter. i actually consider it a symptom of the pop-corrupt value culture. its not an insult though because i see it in myself too. think about it. consider what is happening in the mind of a poster who says, "sorry dude, can't help you on this one." you're saying this is shallow and devoid of any worth or meaning. if your question had real and noble meaning, any response would also have real and noble meaning. the issue you are proposing here is as meaningless and empty as the silly responses its posting produced...which of course accounts for 99.9999 percent of free discussion-esque posts.

Sometimes it does. For example, when someone says "lul" and I punch them and thereafter they do not say "lul" in my vicinity, violence solved the problem.

I think the world would be just so much more lovely though if people could solve their differences without resorting to violence.
