I find it highly fascinating that commodity production

Props up the whole structure of a society. Take whole industries/instituitions propped up by commodity production for example.
Advertising. The BILLIONS of dollars spent on advertising represent but a fraction of revenues of the commodity producers that hire advertising firms to push their stuff into the market. This whole advertising industry - existing as it is, is but a piece, a section, propped up by commodity producers.
Next, media. TV channels, news channels, music channels, newspapers, radio etc. Almost everything you see on TV, newspapers and hear on radio is there thanks to advertising revenues which the channels and media must generate to keep going. And behind all advertising is the commodity producer who has the money to pay the advertising agency to buy air time on channels and space on newspapers.
Next, the big centers of finance - banks. Centers where vast sums of capital are concentrated. Capital that arises from commodity production. Banks loan (capital stored in banks by commodity producers ) are used to finance the ventures of other commodity producers. Interest paid to the bank by the commodity producer from the revenues from sales of the commodities.
The stock exchange - developed to raise sums of capital for commodity production.
Rate of technological advance, big well equipped armies, extent of corruption in government, form of state - these are all decided by the level of the development of the mode of commodity production in a given society.
All very, very fascinating indeed.

i might actually have some thoughts about this ironman. but first, i'm not clear about what defines a commodity. i'll list some commodity "chains-of-production" i have in mind.
oil-gasoline-gas station (brands) (cenex, phillips 66, etc.)
cane/beet sugar - sugar processing plants - sugar (brands) (always-save, shurfine, then major expensive brands...which often use the same product from the same plant...they just take turns filling their bags.

)
please clear me up real quick on what a commodity product is. products (usually common basic need-type products) which are produced by independent companies, who compete against each other.

okay stop being a smart ass. i'm really trying to understand the definition of a commodity product here. you need to learn to time your smart ass analogies better hidden. there's a time and a place for them. and there's a time to step it up and be a teacher. you obviously have a lot to teach.

is your name hidden? did anyone else respond to me? was your response a response to my post? i didn't even understand it. but i assumed you were mocking me anyway cuz thats what you do. and yah, it was obviously directed towards you. you're such a sharp hard-on bearer but you always hide in a dark sarcastic core of mockery and amusement. a lot of smart people do that, and in the process they hurt people and miss out on opportunities to teach.

Brucella abortus is a bacterium. It sometimes infects cattle and causes them to abort their fetuses.

First step to not being insecure is not looking insecure. First step to not looking insecure is not telling everyone you're insecure.
Actually, scratch that, the first step is getting laid.
