yah i hit a deer once too and it scared the shit out of me. my friggin air bags went off, which added to the shock-factor. it was loud, it felt like getting a light punch, then the car filled with whatever gas is used to inflate the bags. friggin scary.

those fucking bastards need to learn to look both ways first!

i've been involved in probably half a dozen instances where we came within a few feet of hitting a deer, but never the real deal. seen a few post-collision vehicles though, larger adult deer can fuck a car up nice and good

i got lucky. the deer only pushed in my driver's side view mirror, no damage. scared the crap outta me though.

I hope a moose never decides to end me.

actually i almost hit a deer on my bicycle one time. i was probably within about 10 yards or so. i didn't see it coming because i must have been looking down at something.

It's really easy to not hit them in November. They don't make themselves as known here.

Okay so, I really HATE hitting animals but I laughed so hard this one time a bird flew into the front of my car. All I saw were a bunch of feathers flying all over the place. I checked the rear view mirror for the corpse of this poor creature splattered in the middle of the road...nothing.

I almost hit a goose crossing the road, but I was able to stop in time.

that happened to me as well last year. dumbass bird flew right into my grill. the feathers were the funny part as was the squished pose of the thing on my grill. i drove to the nearest carwash and was on my way again.

A sexy leopard elevator I worked at my old job hit a bird and had the poor dead thing stuck in her grill the entire day. She had one of the guys remove it and he almost puked.

I've never punched a goose but once I punched a sparrow that my cat brought in but did not kill. He let it go and it began flying all the fuck over in the house and as it went by me I punched it. I didnt actually think Id make contact but I did. It was really funny.
