nope, Hugh is signed through 2012 so that means 3 more seasons

hugh laurie said in some fairly recent interviews that from all the "fake" limping he's doing on the show his knees are getting really fucked up and that his doctor(s) advised him to stop or he will completely destroy them. but, since this season seems to be progressing to a point where he doesn't feel pain in his leg anymore, there is a chance they can write in something that will cure him from the limp. otherwise, i would venture a guess the show is over

excellent, did you see the first episode of the new season? we have it recorded on tivo. i went through an anus-esque review in my head while drunk after that episode. it lifted me out of depression.



to i am the pink lizard. thats ridiculous, hugh needs to suck it up. maybe he's such a good actor that he's actually subconsiously convinced himself of the injury.

another possible theory: maybe they saw the ratings declining (i do not know if they actually were. it's just speculation) and then the producers/network executives/whoever fabricated this piece of news to create some "OMG this could be the last season! we need to watch this right now!"-type hype. consipracy

what do "ratings" mean? does a computer count how many people are watching? i know i missed the entire last season by just waiting for it to come out on dvd so i could watch it without commercials.

did you guys miss where I said hes SIGNED THROUGH 2012!

uhh, no i got it and it was wonderful, however it still wouldn't surprise me if what you said was bullshit and this is the last season.

what the hell are you talking about? why would I lie about an actors time on a show? that makes no sense.

Brilliant show! Glad that it continues for awhile!!!

I was watching it the other night with my girlfriend and we both starting yelling at the tv towards the end of the episode when the diagnosis was endometriosis. (she studies that for a living where she works so it was kind of like "did they just say....really? ...REALLY?! FUCK!"

Episode 14 (Season 5): “The Greater Good”





it made sense because both of us, her especially are sick of hearing that word so we were pissed that now it was being said on TV on a show that we actually like.

I figued out Endometriosis before House in that episode.



Not long before, but somewhere before he had his epiphany.

i didn't catch the beginning, he was staying in some kind of mental facility, it's not a bad show but dry at points.
