MABB v6.6.6

Has anyone ever encountered this virus? It's probably the worst one I've ever had. It's not on this pc my other one. I can't access regedit, task manager and it detects every virus scanner or spyware scanner that I put on the pc and it disables them. I did some kind of boot virus scan with Avast and it removed a few trojans but it didn't fix the main virus. Getting ready to go post on tech support forum.

How the crap do you get these things? I've never encountered a virus on my computer...

i got it from downloading a crack for a program, shouldn't have done it. wasn't really thinking.



anyway, I've been backing up everything on the pc for the past hour. I'm going to reformat and reinstall windows.



it sucks but i've been looking for a reason to fix up that pc anyway

Turn your computer on in repair/safe mode and try then.

And get Malwarebytes Anti Malware for detechtion and removal.

this was the first thing i tried, along with doing it in safe mode. the damn virus deleted the program the second i opened it, i even tried renaming it.



it wouldn't let me run super anti-spyware, hijackthis, ad-aware, malwarebytes, regedit, ect. everything and anything I tried.

Yeah, I've had that one. I had to reinstall windows (I saved everything by just buying a new hard drive).

I'm downloading WinXP atm, this will be the first time I've ever reformatted/reinstalled windows. my biggest concern is that this download of windows will work.
