Self-perceived gender vs actual gender
Are you human? If yes, continue reading...
Do you have a cock? If yes, you are male. If no, continue reading.
Do you have a vagina? If yes, you are female. If no, continue reading.
Do you have both a cock and a vagina? If yes, you are a hermaphrodite. If no, continue reading.
Do you have neither? If yes, you are a eunuch. The end.

Redd is right. Sex does not equal gender. People can be biologically born male while choosing to be socially coded as female in their daily lives. I thought that was fairly obvious by now.

Except I don't give a shit what people want to be socially coded as. If you're a dude, you're a dude. Whether you're a completely feminine , overly masculine, or somewhere in between dude, as far as I'm concerned, you're still a dude. If I get along with you, I don't care about the rest of this over-classificationism.

So (hypothetically) your mate chooses to wear dresses and 'be' a woman but your still all like "hey man hows it hangin?" There's no over-classificationism (Not a word according to the red line!) What if some 'dude' doesnt want be be regarded as a 'dude?'

I made it up, of course... but, most -isms are.
But yeah, (though I have a few cross-dressing friends so I might not be the best person to put that logic to) my fellating lover starts wearing dresses and I'm still like, "asshole, you owe me a beer." I can't really be arsed about what someone wants to be regarded as, unless it's immediately relevant. I've known a couple ladies who wanted to live as dudes and y'know, whatever, they want me to call them by a traditionally male name now, that's fine. They're still them. Maybe that's a bad example because they were both already lesbians so they were already not the focus of my sexual pursuits; I didn't regard them any differently after (aside form the name change). Back to the original bit (I may have gone on a bit of a tangent there) no, it doesn't make any difference to me what they want to be socially regarded as.

Ye're discussing semantics as if ye don't even realise that's all ye're doing.
