I mainly like graphic novels:
jimmy corrigan smartest kid on earth, very surreal and and almost dreamlike narrative
<!-- m -->
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Corr ... d_on_Earth<!-- m -->
Seth, and his characters.
<!-- m -->
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seth_(cartoonist<!-- m -->)
Daniel Clowes and his characters
<!-- m -->
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Clowes<!-- m -->
From Ice Haven, his latest and most relaxed one. Quite cool.
His most famous one, Ghost world
Jason, and his comics
<!-- m -->
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_(comics<!-- m -->)
This hard-on bearer has the most beautiful style (reminiscient of Hergé) and his pacing is like, fuck man...
This one is probably my favourite of all time, Cant get no. Psychedelic mindfuckingly beautiful stuff.
<!-- m -->
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Can%27t_Get_No<!-- m -->
typically i cant fint any good page scans from it so this will have to do:
Can't Get No is a graphic novel by Rick Veitch which concerns businessman Chad Roe's depression after the financial fall down in a giant display of homosexuality of his business, his seemingly permanent full-body marker tattoos, the events of September 11, 2001, which prompt Roe to take a road trip.
Can't Get No is unique for not only having no speech balloons, but for having captions only loosely related to the narrative. Most of the writing is, in fact, a long-verse poem that runs parallel to Roe's journey.
Frank
<!-- m -->
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_(comics<!-- m -->)
Of some of the more cartoon-y stuff:
Sandman,Lucifer from the Sandman series, Spider Jerusalem, John Constantine, Preacher, Swamp thing (some of that stuff is really psychedelic,Promethea, Tom Strong, Top Ten, The filth, and finally probably the doom patrol,that is when they were relevant :

i remember my cousin being a huge fan, and me liking those few issues he let me borrow, and then i completely forgot this even existed.
aod, have you seen that movie that was heavily "inspired" by Dylan Dog? iirc it was named Dellamorte Dellamore and it has in there Anna Falchi

no one is immortal when Guts is around. and even if he would somehow manage to retain his immortality (afaik he's not immortal, he's just hard to kill being half-demon and all) Guts would just slay him repeatedly while raping Trish and Lady

im not sure if he is immortal or not, i just said immortal because i didnt feel like going into all the shit thats happened to him that hasnt killed him.
i know he can take a point blank bullet to the face and get fully impaled without having a mark to show for it.
i know next to nothing about guts so i cant really put up a good arguement/debate about who would win.
