yeah, i'd wager everything is more expensive in hawaii compared to the mainland US. being a remote island and all, anything that needs to be shipped/brought in from outside is going to incur some significant extra costs just from added transportation costs alone.

Maui is the coolest island. You dont get a lot of the tourism and tourist related crap that is on the main island.



Chicks are everywhere!



Its more expensive for some things, yes. But a lot of the food is cheaper. You would be surprised at the amount of farmland on the islands.

My father and mother went there for their honeymoon. There are some pictures hanging up along the hallway. Absolutely gorgeous, I'd love to go there.
