yeah pretty, I smoked too much and I rode the scooter only with t-shirt in greece, for 13 days and 13 night, so of course my lungs now are asking me mercy.

I suppose is time to quiet for a while with vices. The end of summer could be a good time to stop smoking for example.

I prefer to think of them as electric wanklets.

well AOD i understand, my lungs are only now really recovering from the years of abuse..it feels good tho!



i managed to not even bother with the electrical able-bodied chap for some weeks then i went to spain, went to the metal bars and smoked 20 camels hahaha!



so now i'm back on the electrical fagger every now and again when the evil calls me to suck cancer.

Still you'd be surprised how many don't realize it's the damaged cilia that causes the build up and therefore the smoker's cough. Cilia does heal once you stop smoking it just takes a long time.

I try to live one, I'm not perfect



I''ve never smoked, never drank, I eat fairly healthy (am trying to do better), and I walk 45 minutes - an hour every day so I'm fairly healthy. That's my choice, I don't believe in forcing everyone to be "heatlhy" because that defeats the purpose. I chose to start paying attention when I got diagnosed with sleep apnea because losing weight and keeping it off can decrease apneas at night (won't make it go away).

No, I have to sleep with a CPAP machine. Most people diagnosed with it are overwight senior men, however lots of people have it and don't know. Sleep Apnea can increase your risk for heart disease and other health problems which is why it's better to treat it than ignore it.









Normal: 5 apneas or less in an hour



Mild Sleep Apnea: 5-15 apneas



Moderate Sleep Apnea: 15 - 30 apneas an hour ( I have this)



Severe Sleep Apnea: over 30 Apneas an hour (my brother has this)

Ouch, I really feel for you on that, it must be terrible.

It actually isn't that bad, sleeping with the mask just takes some getting used to.



Yes it is, it has to do with the way our air tracks are built and the shape of our mouths. Gaining weight creates more pressure on the air track which is why many who are diagnosed try to lose weight obviously.
