After a month of working over 12 hours a day pretty much everyday (on some days over 16 hours) Monday to Saturday - not out of choice at my new job, I decided one day to leave on time, i.e. leaving after working 9 hours. Just as I was about to leave, the boss man called me into his office. Hands me a laptop first thing when I enter the room. Says, "This is based on your performance. I want you to play a more active role in the management of the company, especially in dealing with clients".



No word of a salary increase though. So for all I know, the bastard just dumped more work on me.



Been making plenty of one day city-city work related trips recently. It's very physically draining. On top of that, I have a revolution to build. All this work is incompatible with my revolutionary work. I need to sort my life out man.

What exactly do you do for 9 to 12 hours a day? I know you work in advertising but could you just give me an idea of what kind of tasks you have to do? Is all this work towards one project or multiple?

working 16 hours in a day is unacceptable

Thas last two weeks I also basically worked 10+ hours per day plus after that the usual sportings that I do. And I don't even get my overtime work as money, I need to be on leave after overtime 20 hours are done :(

However, I only work half the days in each month (unless I'm smashing the back out of the overtime)

There is too much suffering in this world. Corporations are destroying this earth by polluting and wasting resources. Time is short. Everybody's doing what I'm doing - working a job. It's nothing special. This revolution shiznit - that's my real job.



It's like musicians do all these odd jobs so they can afford to buy equipment and play gigs. Music is their real passion. The job only facilitates it. It's the same for me where revolution is concerned.
