I got a call from the employment search department at my institute where I graduated(prof. training module) a year ago the other day, a wastewater plant lab had a copy of my CV and were very interested in me because of my experience in a similar facility + being bilingual. It was a part-time job, 6 month contract(no mention of indefinite contract, but regardless the experience would look kick ass on my resume for future job interviews). The only requisite I didn't meet was having my own means of transportation, as the plant was in the middle of nowhere, with no bus stops in a >5km radius. I don't have a car nor even a license.

Two years ago I applied to one small company for programmer slot as I was looking for summer job and additionally place to do my job replacement. Well the audition went well and they offered me good salary and benefits of normal employee. Well week after that they called me that "ok, you got the job. COF will call you at the end of the week so you can schedule contract signing days and starting day." I was like WAY FUCKING HOU!!!! Four days later the same interviewer called me and said that "we decided not to take you and instead of you take two old code breakers to work here" After that I was like FACK NOUUUU!!!!!

Fuck no, I'm studying over the summer but I'll take any part-time job I can get, especially one that's actually relevant to my career.



I need a job first to be able to afford the license. (totals to +800€ with all the mandatory courses/lectures).

I'm 19 and unemployed. I need to get a job...somewhere.

i'm thinking about going back to county policing. my job is making us go to permanent shifts. day shifts suck because there are few arrests ever made/boring/admin crap, but night shifts blow for ohne's personal life. that's why i enjoyed rotating...variety. since i'm not a senior officer i don't get to pick my shift. i'm still waiting for the decision for my fate.

I am content with my job, I'm staying. I used to hate job hunting, hopefully I won't be hunting for a while.
