about 6 for me, depending on the circumstances. 4-5 for a decent buzz. Call me lightweight or whatever, some people naturally digest alcohol better, and also ive never drank continuously to the point of developing a tolerance.

it depends from many factors: how much you ate before, ( and what you ate); how is your humor; and of course what I am drinking.

In a normal situation, drinking beer, I need about 8 beers to be drunk.

3 pints of beer is way enough to get me talking shit.

if it's got high alcohol content (6%+) than it takes about 5-6 drinks.

I can't get drunk off of cheap, low AC, beer. not to mention they taste like shit.

i'd rather drink 5-6 really good beers than have to drink 9-12 shit beers to get drunk. (not a fucking joke, I drank 12 fucking nasty ice [natural ice] before I even felt anything. lame.)

I don't drink anymore, when I was still drinking it was half of the 0,75 bottle of vodka or 5 strong (7,8%) polish beers or 10 Heinekens.

i don't drink very often, but i've been told that i'm the weirdest lightweight ever. i'll drink like 6-7 rum and cokes when i get to the bar at a show within the first 2 hours, get blitzed out of my mind, go out for air, then in another hour, i'm completely sobered up. weird shit.

varies for me, depending on alot of factors, including what im drinking, how much i've had to eat, and how recently, amongst other things....one day i could drink 3 beers in an hour and not feel anything, another day i could drink 5 in 2 hours and be smashed

last time I set out to get drunk I was 10 busch's deep in 45 mins and I was wasted. keep in mind I don't drink a lot, so I can't handle my alcohol that well despite my size (I was 230lbs at this point). liquor would probably take me 5-8 shots to get wasted, for some reason I get drunk off of cheap beer more than alcohol. a few months later I drank 2 ~12oz bottles of heineken and was like 6 shots deep off some warm jager and nothing happened. strange. (at first I was chasing the jager with the heineken but then just gave up on the jager)



last time I was at a party (a month or so ago) I drank one beer (nasty ice) and then maybe one more total during 2 rounds of pong and had a slight buzz



nowadays it'd probably take 4-5 beers for me to get drunk simply because I don't drink.

depends on how much ive been drinking recently, my tolerance builds up really quickly, and the then disappears just the same if i dont keep it up. a night usually starts with a couple of beers before moving onto 4/5/6 jagerbulls and a fair few shots.

two shots does it for me.

It varies but the good thing is that I am able to tell each time when my body has had enough so that I avoid barfing later on that night.

but barfing is fun!

This, essentially. Personally, I can drink about three pints at 6-8%, and then I'll be pretty tipsy. I can't get drunk off of nasty ice either. They're so disgusting, plus I process the alcohol faster than I can drink them. As far as mixed drinks go, it takes about 6 (no ice) at 1:1 alcohol/mix to get me smashed.



In other words, I have an pretty high tolerance. By the time I'm drunk, I've usually put away 3/4 of the smaller size bottle of vodka. Honestly, though, I'd rather have 6 incredible dark lagers and stouts at 9-13% and get a buzz than finish off that much shit vodka. In fact, for example, I play beer-pong with vodka instead of Keystone.

my tolerance has been way up ever since I spent some time back up in MA in late april/early may. might have something to do with being utterly fucking wasted just about every night the whole trip, but at any rate, it doesn't seem to have tapered back down to my usual default. that may have something to do with putting on about 10lbs during that same trip

I had five grolsches yesterday and a Guinness, which was slightly too much

I fill up a glass to about 8 oz of Jager and that gets me going.
