Democrats aren't lilly white you know, politicians in general lack fidelity. Politicians in general believe they can get away with stuff the "normal folk" never could.

Politicians being out of touch with "normal" people? Oh yeah, that belief is extremely well founded. Now of course there are exceptions and there are individuals in Washington who are not in it for themselves and are in it for the good of the people but very few. Most of them are more interested in their party/agendas.
