The smoke alone gives me a bad headache so you don't need to worry about me ever taking a puff of that crap.

me an my wife been jammin these fuckers for the past 2 weeks and not smoked a single oldskool cancer stick.
we both were 20+ a day and now can smell again, taste more and don't wake up with bleeding gums or snotcoughs.
SPACEFAG OF THE FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and the best part is smoking the fucker in bars and restaurants and they can't stop you!

i've been thinking about trying the electronic cigarettes out lately, and with the knowledge that i can tell people i'm smoking a spacefag from the future, i think i'm finally sold. what brand are you using? how long do the little nicotine cartridges typically last?
Re: hey raian

i'm sucking on a 510 Titan and the cartridges vary according to my moods, sometimes one per 24(ish) hour period other times 2 in the same time.
but each cartridge works out at about £1 each instead of £6 each for normal cancer sticks
it's a total science if you wanna really get into it (or out of normal wanklets) with different doses per cartridge (hig/med/lo/zero) but tbh i prefer to be nerding out with this gizmo than fueling cancerous cankers.
spacefags from the future is..er..the future.
having said all that i'll undoubtably die of cancer within a week.

electronic cigarettes don't sound to me as a good way of stopping smoking. I am sure you will start smoking classic cigarettes in frw time. The only way of stopping is chaning mentality. You can stop onlòy if you really want.

the idea isn't to quit at all, it's to continue without all of the horrible drawbacks that normal cigarettes have
the idea isn't to quit at all, it's to continue without all of the horrible drawbacks that normal cigarettes have
for example...
Cigarettes are one of few products which can be sold legally which can harm and even kill you over time if used as intended.
Currently there are ongoing lawsuits which aim to hold tobacco companies responsible for the effects of smoking on the health of long term smokers - they contain amongst others....
Benzene (petrol additive)
A colourless cyclic hydrocarbon obtained from coal and petroleum, used as a solvent in fuel and in chemical manufacture - and contained in cigarette smoke. It is a known carcinogen and is associated with leukaemia.
Formaldehyde (embalming fluid)
A colourless liquid, highly poisonous, used to preserve dead bodies - also found in cigarette smoke. Known to cause cancer, respiratory, skin and gastrointestinal problems.
Ammonia (toilet cleaner)
Used as a flavouring, frees nicotine from tobacco turning it into a gas, found in dry cleaning fluids.
Acetone (nail polish remover)
Fragrant volatile liquid ketone, used as a solvent, for example, nail polish remover - found in cigarette smoke.
Tar
Particulate matter drawn into lungs when you inhale on a lighted cigarette. Once inhaled, smoke condenses and about 70 per cent of the tar in the smoke is deposited in the smoker's lungs.
Carbon Monoxide (CO) (car exhaust fumes)
An odourless, tasteless and poisonous gas, rapidly fatal in large amounts - it's the same gas that comes out of car exhausts and is the main gas in cigarette smoke, formed when the cigarette is lit. Others you may recognize are :
Arsenic (rat poison), Hydrogen Cyanide (gas chamber poison)

I used to love smoking Djarum Black cloves. I quit when my son was born. The times I miss it the most is when drinking alcohol

-- especially at bars. I will probably never smoke again but I do miss it in those periods.

if i'm honest the only time i really miss a cigarette is when i'm feeling particularly self hating or miserable, but apart from that not at all and believe me i have spent most of my life being a big FUCK YOU smoker with no remorse
i was drunk as fuck last tuesday at a gig just suckin on my spacefag and didn't once think to light up an analogue able-bodied chap.
people are like

what the fuck is that? cos it's black and glows neon blue when you puff it hahaha!

I'm planning to quit DEFINITELY in september.......I know is impossible to quit totally during this summer
anyway, is very good that I smoke about 3,4, times in a month, so I can't consider myself a real smoker.

ok, i'm trying to find a model to buy and there is so much info scattered around, much of it really vague and conflicting and confusing and i can't figure out what the fuck is going on here. do most of these e-cigarettes involve having to manually refill the cartridges?
it seems like the only source of any information that isn't directly trying to sell me something, comes from this whole bizarre e-cigarette subculture and people are really, hugely into really going nuts with customized setups and are buying different kits like every other week. i don't care about any of that stuff. i want something that works, and doesn't require a shit-ton of effort (e.g., manually refilling liquid, fuck that -- i want drop-in replacements, if they even exist) to get it done, and you know, something that will actually last a while.
maybe it's just because i'm getting all my info from e-cigarette nerds, but it seems like a lot of these people are spending enough on equipment to completely negate the savings over traditional cigarettes. does this just kind of come with the territory, or do these people just need to find a better hobby

i can't be arsed with all that shit either, i just got one e-cig titan510 and buy refills by the 50 or 100 so far. i've got a pocket charger (pcc) and a normal charger thats it.
you can go as deep as you want into modding the electronics and all that bullshit but i just wanted to stop breathing in paint thinner and embalming fluid laced with tar all day not replace smoking with another deperate obsession.
i'm getting to the point already too tho that i can't even be bothered with the e-cig and i just wank happily through the day.

mine arrived in the mail today and i'm rather liking it so far (went with the J118 which is supposed to be a newer model i guess). i've been working off one cartridge all day long. i'm drinking gin, and with an occasional hit off the vaporizer and i don't feel that mind-bending urge to smoke half a cigarette in one drag.
how many cartridges do you find yourself going through on an average day? did i already ask that? i'm too lazy to go back and look

awesome! i'm finding the same drinking is alays the hardest time cos somoke and booze are great partners but with the trusty spacefag you don't even think about it!
at the moment i'm going through about 3 cartridges a day but i've lowered the dose to medium from high - with high i was using 1-2 a day depending.
rock out the scificigs!!!!
let me know how you continue with it! i've done a month now with no cigarettes and couldn't care less about them.

out of sheer curiosity, i tried a regular cigarette earlier after a few days of nothing but the vaporizer. already, i think i'm starting to get my taste back a bit, because that was a good a bit nastier than i remember. i predict though, that the coming days are going to be annoying as all the tar and whatnot begins to dislodge from the lungs.
buying a paltry ten cartridges with my starter kit though was a bit of a poor decision. i've still got enough to hold out for a few more days at the rate i've been going through them, but i'm going to order a whole bunch more tomorrow i think

How much does this cost? For a starter kit? I don't smoke but my parents do.
