i just joined this. so far it is good but i think in 2-3 years it will put in ads and start ramping up the user rape factor like all the other platforms. there's definitely only certain kinds of people on it. but that doesn't bother me ... yet.

ive had a bluesky account for i think a couple years now but never really used it. it was very feature-light and unpopulated then, i guess they've turned a bunch of that stuff around by now. but even if it is functional and has a userbase now and sidesteps the most noxious elements of twitter and its userbase, and even if you can see funny posts and dunks and stuff again, those sites are very bad for me and i will not use them anymore. my twitter account finally expired earlier this year and i am sad to leave my group chat pals behind, i am better off for it
