He didnt want to accept trey's idea of creating our own believes, thinking beyond imaginations of common man..

I think thats the reason he put David back and had Thor in the band so that they just simple play without questioning much.

i seriously doubt it. most of the people i've known who did potent hallucinogenics habitually could never maintain the kind of functioning necessary to tour and perform on the level trey does. he's just kind of out there naturally, intoxicants would simply augment his general spaciness

Hmm, I don't think the departure between Steve and Morbid Angel had anything with Treys belief to do..

Basically, Steve and Trey didn´t completely see eye to eye and had some professional and perhaps personal problems.

seriously that response is making me double over with laughter. i'm sure steve is not only so ripped it's all you can do to keep yourself from drizzling honey over his ten-pack but also a total arrogant dick about showing it off, but i don't recall a period in morbid angel's history where they were getting banned from a lot of venues for their frontman's insistence on everyone staring at his shirtless torso

That part at 4:10 was very MA-ish! Nice to hear him do stuff in that vein once again! Some other stuff from the samples was pretty meh though. Still looking forward to hear the whole thing, it may actually end better than the upcoming I album...
